Abhirami is a UAE based creative with an educational background in Visual Communication (Exhibition Design).
She works primarily in arts and design research, curation, and spatial and narrative design. She is also a trained artist, and dabbles in photography and creative writing.
In 2019, she founded the White Lines Collective, a social design inquiry into narratives of mental health among young adults through arts and creative practices. Her work with the Collective has been part of numerous exhibitions and conferences in 2020.
Her interests include art and art history, design practices, films and TV shows about historical events and narratives of human emotion, and reading about society and media. Her dream is to curate exhibitions for galleries and museums and work with both renowned and upcoming artists, whilst growing the White Lines Collective into a global platform in arts and mental health projects.
